bio: Hi!  I'm Beatrice (aka Triss), and I use she/her pronouns. I started playing guitar and bass in 2005, and have since played in several bands, performed at Silicon Valley Pride and MAGWest, produced and released original music, and graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in music.  I'm happy to work with students of all ages and skill levels to achieve their individual musical goals!

bio: With over 10 years of playing experience, I'm comfortable teaching various styles on both acoustic and electric guitar for all experience levels. My current band blends jazz and R&B styles. I've been teaching music informally for two years, and I first volunteered with BAGRC in the summer of 2017.

rate: @ Mountain Music (Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat), monthly rate = $170 (cash/venmo/non-fee-based payment) ; west oakland rates vary and scheduling is limited. Will consider sliding-scale options for lower income folks with proof, basic at-home rate in west oakland is $35 per 30 minute lesson, $30 each if you pay in advance. Trial lessons available, as well. 1-hour lessons are $60.

bio: I started teaching music in high school in 1998 and have been doing it ever since! Despite achieving an art degree, my passion lies in sharing my greatest love & passion - MUSIC. I moved to Oakland in 2014 and started working for Acme Music in 2016 & volunteering for my first BAGRC program in 2017.
